    The challenge

The Silver Lining Foundation is the Silver Lining Sisterhood — Montana's first and only all-breast-cancer-survivor dragon boat and outrigger canoe team, a 501(c)(3) since 2017 that empowers survivors through exercise and community. As a survivor-led organization, it needed event and fundraising infrastructure to run its signature Paddle Palooza weekend and grow recurring support beyond one-time gifts.

    What we did

    • Built Paddle Palooza event registration and promotion on the giving platform (Harness Giving).
    • Launched and marketed a monthly giving program to turn supporters into a recurring base.
    • Supported communications for the Sisterhood's gatherings and year-round training programs.
    • Set up reporting so the team could track event revenue and recurring donors in one place.

    The results

Silver Lining gained the event and recurring-giving infrastructure to run Paddle Palooza smoothly and build steady, year-round support for its mission of empowering survivors in mind, body, and spirit. (Final figures pending client confirmation.)
