    The challenge

Hope Haven's small team needed to run a major community fundraising event, stand up a monthly giving program, and steward donors at once, without adding staff.

    What we did

    • Ran the Heroes Who Cook 2026 event arc end to end, from celebrity-chef recruitment to same-day creative.
    • Built a monthly giving program and a board-driven donor stewardship plan.
    • Drafted day-to-day donor communications so the program team could focus on mission work.
    • Began a website refresh tied to the organizational rebrand.

    The results

Heroes Who Cook 2026 ran on a 16-session, 90-day collaboration — the highest cadence of any partnership — with community chefs competing for the philanthropy award. ED Jennifer Boehm uses the donor dashboard daily and credits the capacity gain to having the team draft everything for her.

It was very helpful this year to have someone drafting everything for me.
