A monthly base to build on.

Stood up an evergreen monthly giving program so a 30-year affordable-housing affiliate could fund construction and repairs from a predictable base instead of seasonal one-time gifts.

    Building in Missoula

    The challenge

Habitat for Humanity of Missoula has spent more than 30 years building affordable homes, repairing owner-occupied homes for families at 40–80% AMI, and running a veteran-repair program — work that needs steady, year-round funding. But giving leaned heavily on seasonal, one-time gifts, with no real monthly program behind it: no welcome series, no upgrade path, and no predictable base to plan construction like the Mariposa Commons triplex against.

    What we did

    • Designed an evergreen monthly giving program end to end — the offer, giving tiers, and donor-facing brand.
    • Wrote and designed the acquisition journey: landing page, appeals, and a welcome series tied to tangible construction and repair impact.
    • Built an automated cultivation flow that thanks donors, reports back on homes built, and invites upgrades at the right moments.
    • Stood up reporting on recurring revenue, retention, and upgrade rate so the team could plan against a reliable base.

    The results

The monthly program gave Habitat Missoula a predictable funding base it had never had — recurring revenue that compounds year over year and underwrites both new construction and the repair programs that keep existing homes safe. (Final figures pending client confirmation.)
